Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.

Last week we had a birthday salute to a member of The Revelers, Ellitt Shaw. This week we celebrate the birthday of another member of The Revelers, founder and basso profundo Wilfred Glenn. And speaking of The Revelers, we’ll tell you about the exciting work being done by Craig Phillips of The Revelers Project. We’ll also celebrate the birthday of Lou Herscher, take a musical trip to “Bean Town,’ we’ll get tight and listen to this past week in recording history. And we’ll remind you once again about how to get a free one-year, 12 issue subscription to The Syncopated Times, the national newspaper devoted to exploring the worlds of jazz, ragtime and swing.
