RRR 78RPM Show – 10 June 2018

Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Logo

Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.

The past few weeks we’ve had first time birthday salutes for several composers and artists and this week we have not one, not two, but three more! Starting off the show is Joseph A. Goodwin, remembered primarily for “When You’re Smiling.” You’ll also hear about Charles Dornberger and John Howard Payne. We’re also going to get close. Closer. And even just a little closer. In the final, one record segment we will hopefully fulfill a request with the correct recording, which we went to great lengths to come up with. If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to Glenn@RapidlyRotatingRecords.com.  And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show.

Enjoy the show!
