RRR 78RPM Show – July 22, 2018

Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Logo

Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.

This week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records starts off with a set of songs about Avalon and Catalina. Why? To promote the fact the next week, July 29, we will be celebrating the 18th anniversary of the show with a special LIVE, two-hour show direct from the massive KISL studio complex in Memorial Park in Avalon, Santa Catalina Island. If you’re not within range of KISL’s 88.7 FM signal, fear not. You can hear the show streaming online from anywhere in the world at www.KISLAvalon.com. Tonight, however, we’ll also be taking a musical trip to the moon to celebrate the 1969 moon landing. We’ll deal with some “stuff,” find out who’s that knocking at my door and try to find out what’s around the corner. If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to Glenn@RapidlyRotatingRecords.com.  And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show.

Enjoy the show!
