Willard Robison – Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Show – Sept. 16, 2018

Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Logo

Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.

I’m fairly certain I’m not related to him, but tonight’s lone birthday salute is for Willard Robison. Besides, I believe his last name is pronounced with a long “o” and mine is with a short “o.” Carson Robison’s last name, by the way, is correctly pronounced with a short “o” also. Anyway, in addition to Willard Robison’s birthday salute, you’ll get taken for a ride (don’t worry, not the gangster kind of ride!), we’ll hearken back to the old west, we’ll play some nice records (ALL the records we play are nice, for that matter!) and find out about someone else. Somewhat inadvertently, we finish out the show with a recording from 1949! If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to Glenn@RapidlyRotatingRecords.com. And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show.

Enjoy the show!
