Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – 2 May 2010

Rapidly Rotating Records Logo

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

On this evening’s “simple” show, we’re going to travel, journeying musically to Sweden, Havana and down south, and we’ll do some pining. I had really wanted to play some songs about magpies too (listen if you want to quench your insatiable curiosity) , but apparently magpies weren’t a popular theme for vintage music.

Enjoy the show!

Here’s the complete playlist:

I’ve A Garden In Sweden – California Ramblers
