On this evening’s show, we’re going to celebrate the birthdays of Ben Pollack and Benny Krueger, do some spelling, and listen to this past week in recording history.

Segment 1: Spelling
The Scripps National Spelling Bee was held at the end of last month, with with 13 year old Sameer Mishra becoming champion by spelling the word guerdon, meaning a reward, recompense or requital. So with congratulations to Sameer, here are some songs that are spelled.
