Segment 3: Buddy Clark
July 26 marked the birth in 1912 in Dorchester, Massachusetts of Samuel Goldberg. You may know him better as crooner Buddy Clark.

Segment 4: The Comedian Harmonists
Listener Barbara Sunday, who, along with Bob Lynes, hosts “Don’t Touch That Dial”, a program featuring old time radio shows, on KPFK, 90.7 FM in Los Angeles. Barbara wanted to hear some records by the Comedian Harmonists, a group who had a widely varied repertoire, ranging from classics to folksongs to popular hits of the day. They quickly became popular throughout Europe, but since three of the members of the group were Jewish, they were eventually banned from performing in public, and their last concert was in Munich on March 25, 1934.
