Rapidly Rotating Records Logo

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

On this evening’s show, we’ll celebrate the birthdays of Harold Arlen and Walter Donaldson, and fulfill some requests.

Enjoy the show!

Here’s the complete playlist:

Listener Mike’s wife Sally underwent knee replacement surgery, so with best wishes for a speedy recovery, we’re going to start off with a set of “knee” songs.

I’m Knee Deep In Daisies – George Olsen and His Music
The Joint is Jumpin’ – Fats Waller

Segment 2: Somebody Else
Listener Dan, with, as he put it, his first requests of 2006. Unfortunately, I only have only one of the two records he requested, but here it is to start off a segment about “somebody else”.

Do You Believe – Billy Hays AHO / Billy Hays, v.
