Rapidly Rotating Records Logo

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

On this evening’s show we’ll fulfill a couple of requests, and celebrate the birthdays of Phil Spitalny, Harry M. Woods and Euday Bowman.

Enjoy the show!

Here’s the complete playlist:

Segment 1: Phil Spitalny

Watching the Clouds Roll By – Cliquot Club Eskimos /Tom Stacks

On November 9 1887, Euday Louis Bowman was born in Fort Worth, Texas. You may not recognize the name, but you’ve probably heard his most famous composition, 12th St. Rag which refers to 12th street in Kansas City, Missouri. So here to commemorate Euday Bowman’s birthday, are some rapidly rotating records about streets
