Segment 1: Mileage
May 12 in 1847, Mormon pioneer William Clayton invented an odometer which he called a “roadometer”, perhaps not the first odometer but we’re going to commemorate William Clayton’s roadometer, with some rapidly rotating records about mileage.

Segment 3: Nightingale
May 12 marked the birth in 1820 of nurse and health activist Florence Nightingale, so in honor of Florence Nightingale, here are some rapidly rotating records about Nightingales.

Segment 4: Hot & Cold
May 14 marked the birth in 1686 of Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit, the German physicist responsible for the temperature scale that bears his name in 1724. So here to commemorate Fahrenheit’s scale, we’re going to go from hot to cold and back again.
