Rapidly Rotating Records Logo

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

On this evening’s show, we’re gonna play the ponies, acknowledge daylight savings time, and hear from “the champion of the people”.

Enjoy the show!

Here’s the complete playlist:

Segment 1: Spavined
As a public service, we’re going to have a vocabulary lesson. Spavined, as a noun Spavin is a swelling, but the adjective also has a secondary meaning: old and decrepit or “over-the-hill”. Some might refer to the records we play on the show as spavined, but here are some records about some spavined things, other than me.

In A Shanty In Old Shanty Town – Belle Baker

Shabby Old Cabby – Joe Loss
The Old Town Pump – Harry Reser
