A 25th Anniversary Edition of RRR #1,306 July 27, 2025

Rapidly Rotating Records 25th Anniversary

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

On this week’s show, we’ll be celebrating four birthdays; those of Julie Wintz, Juan Llossas, Clark Kessinger and Earl Granstaff. Actually five birthdays, because this is Rapidly Rotating Records’ 25th Anniversary Show! Hard to believe, but we’ve been bringing you toe-tapping music of the 1920s and ’30s for a quarter-century now! Maybe not for another 25 years, since by that time I would be 101 years old, but we’ll continue to do so as long as we are able. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Just click the link above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.

    Happy anniversary to RRR!

I’ve been a regular listener since 2010 and an occasional listener since 2004.
I know this because I like to archive shows for later listening on my iPod and I have shows going back that far.

I hope to make it to Avalon next year for a visit. On my bucket list.

Love the music. Keep spinning those 78s!
