Rapidly Rotating Records Logo

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

We have some wonderful songs to play for you this evening. Literally. We won’t stop, but we will celebrate Firsts, Nurses and Maries.

Enjoy the show!

Here’s the complete playlist:

Segment 1: Wonnerful

Segment 2: Stop
March 5 in 1872, George Westinghouse, at age 22, received a patent for his air brake, a device to stop trains using compressed air. Well, air brakes may be able to stop trains, but they can’t stop these musicians.

Nashville Nightingale – Charleston Seven
