Here’s the complete playlist:

Segment 1: Little Birdies
A little birdie told me that this past week, March 19 was St. Joseph’s Day, the day that the swallows traditionally return to the Mission SanJuan Capistrano in California to usher in spring. So here, to commemorate St. Joseph’s Day and the return of the swallows to Capistrano are some birdie songs.

Segment 2: Ozzie Nelson
March 20 marked the birth in 1907 in Jersey City, New Jersey, of Oswald George Nelson, better known as Ozzie.

Segment 3: Belle Baker
March 24 in 1932, radio broadcasting history was made when Belle Baker hosted a radio variety show. What made this broadcast unique was that it originated from a moving Baltimore and Ohio train that chugged its way around the New York area. So here to commemorate that broadcast, are some songs by Belle Baker.

My Sin – Belle Baker
Hard Hearted Hannah – Belle Baker
Cheer Up, Good Times are Coming – Belle Baker
Overnight – Belle Baker

Segment 4: Ziegfeld Follies
March 15 marked the birth in Chicago in 1867 of Florenz Ziegfeld. So here in honor of Florenz Ziegfeld, is a set of songs from The Ziegfeld Follies.
