Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

On this evening’s show, we’re going to hear from Bing, we’ll search for tomorrow, hit the rails, and have some songs about some beautiful people.

Enjoy the show!

Here’s the complete playlist:

Segment 1: Lionel Hampton
We’re going to start the show with a tribute to Lionel Hampton, who passed away last Saturday, August 31 at the age of 94. Lionel Hampton was one of, if not the, last surviving musicians to have recorded during the acoustic era, before microphones and electrical amplification.
