Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – December 19, 2021

Dajos Bela

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this distinguished looking gentleman is? His real name is Leon Golzmann, but he’s better known by his professional name Dajos Bela. His is one of four birthdays we’ll be celebrating on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records. The others are A. P. Carter, Ernest Klapholz and  Abraham Horwitz, better known by his professional name of Harry Nesbitt, one half of the Nesbitt Brothers. To end the show we’ll have a couple of records for the Christmas season.  There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported magically back to an earlier–and we think better–musical era.

ENJOY THE SHOW!
