Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show – December 5, 2021

Dana Suesse

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know who this lady is? She’s pianist, composer and lyricist Dana Suesse, pronounced “Sweese”. Hers is one of three birthdays we’ll be celebrating on this week’s edition of Rapidly Rotating Records, the other two being Jimmy Lytell and Gussie Davis. This show is just brimming with glee, glee clubs that is, and we’ll also fulfill a listener request. There’s lots of great music and interesting information so set aside an hour to relax with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to an earlier–and we think better–musical era.

ENJOY THE SHOW!

I hope you are all safe and healthy and doing as well as you can be given the current world situation and stay-at-home orders and that this hour of music gives you a bit of diversion and entertainment. Thanks for listening and best wishes!
