Rapidly Rotating Records 78 RPM Show June 26, 2022

Arrowhead Springs Hotel

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know what this venue is? Residents of a certain age in San Bernardino and the Inland Empire will recognize it as the Arrowhead Springs Hotel, seen here in its better days. You’ll find out all about the hotel and the landmark arrowhead above it in the final segment of this week’s episode of Rapidly Rotating Records. We also have two birthday salutes this week, both first-time, for John Cali and Charles D’Almaine. And in the remaining two segments, we’ll take musical trips to Paris and Paradise.  There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and be magically transported back to a different–and we thing better–musical era.

ENJOY THE SHOW!
