RRR 78RPM Show – March 25, 2018

Rapidly Rotating Records 78RPM Logo

Welcome to Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t *not* tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78RPM records of the 1920s and’30s.

The first line of the song “Me And My Shadow” starts with “Me and my shadow / strolling down the avenue.” But the lyric never reveals the avenue being strolled down. So we’re going to present some possibilities. And because there are so many famous avenues in New York City, there’s a separate segment for New York avenues. We’ll also celebrate the vernal equinox and the birthdays of Paul Specht and Mort Dixon. There are at least a couple of records making their RRR debut. If you enjoy the show, please let us know by leaving a comment on the website or the Facebook page or sending an email to Glenn@RapidlyRotatingRecords.com.  And remember, your requests and topic segments are always welcome. As always, just click on the link below to instantly listen streaming online and/or download the show.

Enjoy the show!
