The Last RRR Show…of 2023 #1224 Dec. 31, 2023

Perry Bechtel in 1959

Welcome to Glenn Robison’s Rapidly Rotating Records, bringing you vintage music to which you can’t not tap your toes, from rapidly rotating 78 RPM records of the 1920s and ’30s.

Do you know this fellow is? He’s guitarist and banjo virtuoso Perry Bechtel, known as “The Man With 10,000 Finger.” He’s getting his first birthday segment on this, the last Rapidly Rotating Records show…of 2023. In other segments, we’ll play “One Thing In Common” and as an educational public service, have another RRR Vocabulary Lesson. We’ll also do some scufflin’ and play some songs to help ring in the New Year. There’s lots of great music and interesting information, so set aside an hour with your favorite beverage and prepare to be transported back to a different–and we think better–musical era. Click on the player above to listen streaming online and/or download for listening at your convenience.
